Integrated Management System

UAB "Elga" creates, maintains and continuously improves a safe and healthy environment in the course of its business and declares the following commitments:

• To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality, environmental protection, occupational safety and health management system, to comply with the mandatory laws and regulations of the Republic of Lithuania and the requirements of customers;

• To enable employees to work efficiently, with social guarantees and good relations between them;

• Provide employees with safe and healthy working conditions, identify hazards, assess risks and seek their continuous reduction, and prevent work-related injuries, illnesses and incidents;

• Apply technical innovation in the design of workplaces, the creation of a safe and healthy working environment, and the selection of work and protective equipment;

• Enhancing the skills and competences of employees, encouraging creative initiative to achieve quality results, environmental awareness and employee involvement in health and safety;

• Apply pollution prevention measures to reduce the environmental impact of activities;

• Use natural resources, environmentally advanced materials and technologies, water and electricity sparingly and rationally;

• Improve the working environment by avoiding accidents and other hazards to humans;

• Involve our suppliers and subcontractors in the implementation of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety policies to meet the needs of our company and our customers;

• Evaluate the policy, the objectives and the programmes to achieve the objectives, and ensure that the policy is kept in line with changes in the quality, environmental, occupational health and safety system and company requirements;

• Make the IMS policy available to the public and interested parties;

• To make the Integrated Management System Policy known to all employees of the company and those working on behalf of the company, who must continue to act in accordance with its provisions.
